FAREWELL YEAR 12 2022

YEAR 12

On Monday 17th October we held a whole school assembly to farewell the Class of 2022. The event was conducted by our Master of Ceremonies, James Richards and Lily Abbott, who did a wonderful job. Our student talents were on show with Sophie Curtin performing an acoustic version of Forever Young and our Production students sang “When I grow up” from Matilda. We heard from our School Captains, Abbey Bradley and Claire Howlett and from our VCAL Captains Parker Lange-Ward and Paige Sloane, who gave emotional speeches about their time at MESC. We watched and laughed at the year 12 video and teachers awards and Mrs Vaughan and our Year 11 Leaders, Hayley Richards and Chelsea Rix farewelled the cohort with words of support and encouragement. We finished the assembly with the year 7’s forming a guard on honour for the year 12’s as they exited their last assembly. We wish the Year 12’s of 2022 all the very best for their futures!

YEAR 12 VALEDICTORY DINNER

Year 12 Valedictory Dinner.

On Wednesday 7th December, family members, friends, and many staff members enjoyed an evening of celebration in honour of our wonderful Year 12 students and the successful completion of thirteen years of school.

The event was held at Mornington Racecourse in the stylish Gunnamatta room. Two hundred and seventy guests witnessed our students being presented with a Certificate of Completion of Year 12 and several very special awards.

The students went to a great deal of effort to look their very best on the night with beautiful gowns, suits, and accessories.

We applaud the Class of 2022 for their various achievements and wish them all the best for their respective futures.
