IMPACT
This term has been an great start in our second pillar of excellence - IMPACT (Inspiring Musicians, Performers, and Artists to Create Together). While working on a radio show, which will be present in Term 2, we have worked alongside many professionals who have shared with us how their passions have led them to amazing career pathways. From Samantha Krajina a former student at Corio West PS (Wexford Campus) a leading business woman in Geelong and regular on Bay FM, a sound artist who has travelled all over the world and local artist Nic Watson who introduced us to the world of screen printing.
This week we a travelling into the Geelong Art Gallery to hear about life in an Art Gallery and to see the RONE exhibition which will be very exciting.
We have had an amazing term 1 program and an amazing sign up for term 2. The students who have participated this term have been amazing, committed participants through a wide range of programs. Next term we will have 36 programs running with just under 500 students participating, which is very exciting, so thank you for your amazing support
