Year 9 Textiles class made these cute decorative pin cushions from felt for their Commencement project at the end of last year. 

They were hand sewn where students could show case their knowledge of stitches which they learnt in Year 7. They will go on to learn how to cut patterns and use the sewing machine and overlocker for their main task this semester.
