Music Leaders 2021

I am delighted to announce our Music Leaders for 2021:

Strings Leader – Angelina McRae

Band Leader – Kaydn McLachlan

Choir Leaders – Isabella Vangestel & Oscar Zielinski

These students demonstrate excellent role-modelling, commitment, enthusiasm, and service in all areas of their musical endeavours. I am confident that these students will carry out their roles to the highest of levels and I look forward to working with them this year.

2021 Instrumental Tuition

As we settle into the term, music lesson times should now be established with tutors. For older students’, lesson times can be written into the diaries to help students remember their lessons, particularly as our A and B weeks can be quite different. If you have any issues or queries regarding instrumental or speech and drama lessons, please contact your tutors directly via email or phone. Otherwise, Katherine Howarth K-12 Instrumental Coordinator can be contacted at kahowarth@kws.nsw.edu.au

Assembly Performances

Please enjoy the following videos of students’ performances from the last few weeks.

Week 4: Kaydn McLachlan performing TANGO TIME on trumpet

Week 5: Angelina McRae singing NAUGHTY

Week 6: Percy Meates performing THEME FROM STAR WARS on piano

If your child would like to perform in an upcoming assembly, please encourage them to seek assistance from their tutor to prepare a performance piece. This is also open to students taking speech and drama tuition.
