WEEK 7 PRODUCTION NEWS
Finale Song
Junior and Senior students were introduced to their Finale song in their Wellbeing/Music classes this week. The entire cohort of students will be performing the finale dance before the conclusion of the shows. The Juniors will be performing ‘Better When I’m Dancing’ by Meghan Trainor and Seniors will be performing ‘Absolutely Everybody’ by Vanessa Amorossi (ABSOLUTE classic!!!) Students were highly engaged and willing to participate. Awesome work, Juniors & Seniors!!!!
Costumes
Costume letters for the 2021 Productions have now been sent out via Operoo to students in each Home Group. Some students may have received a letter in person as their costumes are different from their peers.
Please respond to the eForm to ensure that you have as much time as possible to look for the items required. It is suggested that items provided are ONE SIZE BIGGER as they will grow from now until August/September. We require the items by the 17th May to allow time should we sew any material on the tops etc.
Many of the Juniors require brown tops. Melody P & Dani M have kindly shared some images from Best and Less that sell brown tops. Best and Less have the brown tops in the boys section that go up to Size 6 ($3.00 - $5.50). Size 7 - 10 girl tops are also available at Best and Less for $10.00.
If you are unable to find any plain tops but already have the coloured top with logos on it, please feel free to turn the top inside out as you will not see the inside stitching from the audience.
Costume parcels arriving!
Due to the current situation, I ordered the additional costume item for each Home Group in mid-February to ensure that they arrive in time. To my surprise, we already have some of the items at SFS. Have a look at these amazing colours!
Donation of Props
We are currently organising props.
The Junior Production requires ‘Jungle’ props and the Senior Production requires props from ‘Around the World’.
Although we will be creating many things under the incredible artistic direction of Louise, we would love any items that may be in your way at home related to these themes!
