SHS Cross Country

The Shepparton High School cross country was a huge success, with all students participating in our 5.4km course. 

The weather was good for running with the temperature cooling down and an on and off drizzle. Tyrin Atkinson was the first person to complete the run with an impressive time of 21.14.

Other age group winners included:

13 year boys: Ali Agha Alizada        

13 years girls: Achol Ajack

14 year boys: Josh Jeffery               

14 years girls: Katjana Tawhi

15 year boys: Tyrin Atkinson         

15 years girls: Isabella Pellegrino

16 year boys: Jye Barter           

16 years girls: Grace Quirk

17-20 year boys: Brodie Saunders  

17-20 years girls: Josie Lopez

Overall the standing was very close with most of the final scores coming down to how many competitors from each house completing the race. Callister finished with 206 points, Sutherland with 240, Rodney with 266 points and our house winner was Goulburn with 285 points!

Congratulations to all the winners and also all the other students that completed the course whether they walked or ran. A big thank-you to all of the teachers that helped out with duties on the day of the event it was much appreciated.
