From the Canteen

Hi from the canteen – we can’t believe that first term is done & dusted already! 

Term 1 has been very busy, with lots of catering & celebration days – EFTPOS has been really well received by the students and staff, our volunteers have been a great help and we’ve loved meeting our new mums.

The celebration days have been really well received – we’ve had Shrove Tuesday, selling pancakes by the plate load; Chinese New Year followed on the 19th February and we served a special menu of Beef & black bean sauce, Sweet & sour chicken, Fried rice & Sushi. 

This was fantastic and thoroughly enjoyed by the students & staff. Then it was St Patrick’s Day with green jelly & lovely green cupcakes! On Tuesday this week we held a BBQ Day – sausages in bread, Steak Sandwiches and ‘Mega Plates’ were on the menu.

Term 2 sees a slightly different menu, with the introduction of some more winter food, to keep you warm on those cold rainy days. (See attached)

Canteen Duty: Volunteer duties have been emailed; if you haven’t received yours please let us know. Canteen Duty is from 9:30 till 1:30, 

and assistance is appreciated with preparation, heating and serving of lunch orders, window sales at recess & lunch time, and some light cleaning.  If you would like to be added to our roster please contact the school.
