French Exchange
This is the fourth biennial exchange with Lycée Darchicourt, and during formal speeches, the Proviseur (Principal), Mr Hersoy, indicated that he regarded our partnership as a valuable and vital part of his school’s educational program. He hoped that we would be able to continue the program and return to the north of France again in 2018.
One of the Darchicourt students, Gabrielle, will be attending Lilydale High School in Semester 1, 2017, and Mr Hersoy has invited one of our students to attend Darchicourt in return. If you are interested in this opportunity, please see Mrs Stoyanoff.
Gabrielle will be looking for a family or two who are willing to host her for a term or the semester. Please see Mrs Stoyanoff if you are interested.
Host Families
The Languages Department are still urgently seeking host families to accommodate students from Indonesia for two weeks, from Sunday July 17 to Saturday July 30.
Students from all levels are invited to apply to be host families and as the Indonesian students have a very good level of English, it is not limited to those who have been in the Indonesian classes at LHS.
The Indonesian students are very keen to experience Australian life with LHS families.
Please contact Mrs Stoyanoff on 97355644.
