Clay Target Shooting

A group of sixteen Year 9-12 students participated in the summer sports program at the Dhurringile Sporting Shooters Association range competing against eighty shooters from all of the Shepparton district schools.  A great day was planned by the Dhurringile club with the support and sponsorship of Trelly’s Tackle World. The day was keenly contested and two of our students won trophies.

Congratulations to Cody Jones  on receiving the Encouragement Award for his efforts. Marcus Crifo performed brilliantly hitting 13 out of his 16 clay targets to win the Year 9 award. Marcus also qualified as the equal overall male shooter for the day, but was defeated in a tie breaker shoot off.  Congratulations to all students for your efforts.
