AFL Player Visit!

As a part of the lead up to the start of the 2018 AFL Premiership Season, Shepparton High School students were provided with the opportunity to meet two players from the Collingwood Football Club.
Alex Fasolo and rookie Callum Brown visited the school on Tuesday 13th March to sign autographs and take photos with students during lunch time. Both players stuck around for the afternoon speaking to Year 12 students about what it is like to be an elite footballer, living in the city as well as balancing study with sport. They also spent time with Mr Sirett’s & Mr Napolitano’s PE classes.
Alex is currently completing a degree in law, whilst youngster Callum is about to start studying to become a PE teacher after he finishes his playing career.
Staff and students of the Shepparton High School community are thankful to the Collingwood Football Club and AFL Goulburn Murray’s General Manager, Mark Lambourn for providing this opportunity to mingle with the players.
Best of luck to the ‘Pies’ in season 2018!
