Bread tags for Wheelchairs

Environmental Challenge for the Year!

We are pleased to announce that we will have a whole school Environmental Challenge of collecting bread tags for Bread Tags for WheelChairs to assist disadvantaged people in South Africa.

Bread Tags For WheelChairs has been recycling bread tags since 2006. They are currently collecting 500kg of bread tags per month, which funds 2 to 3 wheelchairs to assist disadvantaged people in South Africa.

Last year St Simon’s collected and saved from landfill over 40,000 bread tags. It was a fantastic school achievement and our past Environmental Leaders Amelie Lahausse, Matthew Rowe, Brady Pedley and Shamaya Mathes did an amazing job!

Our School Environmental Team will once again support Bread Tags for WheelChairs and we will  set a new school target.

Please feel free to hand in your bread tags throughout the year. Students can place their bread tags in their classroom office tub in an envelope.

Please help us collect bread tags this year!
