We here at Mobil F & RN McNabb Pty Ltd are looking for juniors for afternoon shifts from Monday till Friday 4:00pm till 7:00pm and including Saturdays  8:00am till 2:00pm and Sundays 9:00am till 2:00pm.

The Hanwood Club Function Centre is looking to employ up to 15 students to undertake casual waiting work. Students need to be 15yrs+.

Tasks involve carrying trays of food to function tables. Opportunities to learn about food preparation also available if student is interested.

Scholarship Applications

Seeking financial support for 2023? Scholarship applications will open on Tuesday 3 May 2022.

The Women’s College offers a number of scholarships for resident students. These are awarded on the basis of a combination of academic potential and financial need. Scholarships are available, for example, to students from:

  • Government schools
  • Rural areas
  • Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds
  • Postgraduate students undertaking medicine or scientific research
  • Students studying performance at the Conservatorium of Music.

Music scholarship auditions will take place in early December and applicants will be advised of the audition date closer to the time.

Students seeking consideration for a residential scholarship must first complete the residency application.

  • If any students are wanting to apply for Nursing, Physiotherapy, Paramedicine, Occupational Therapy, Vet Technology or Medical Radiation Science (Diagnostic Radiography), please encourage them to apply in round one as these are the most competitive courses
  • Round one outcomes will be emailed to students early - mid May
  • To be considered in round 2, students will need to apply by 24th June

Rural Medicine Evening - Term 2 Week 2 @ MCC

University of Notre Dame is hosting a rural medicine evening here at Marian Catholic College on Saturday 7th May from 5-7pm. There will be a BBQ, and hopefully a Welcome to Country smoking ceremony.

It is designed to inform and encourage students who are interested in all areas of rural medicine and health.

It is coming up soon, end of week 2 Term 2.

The Griffith Golf Club has a position available for a 1st year Apprentice Greenkeeper

About the business:

The Griffith Golf Club was established in 1926 and is the leading golf club in the Riverina in South West NSW.

Now is an exciting time to be connected to the Griffith Golf Club with a proactive board and solid staff base.

About the role:

You will be required to complete an apprenticeship in turf management where you will be trained in all aspects of turf management. Responsibilities will include all maintenance duties that are required to maintain an 18 hole golf course to a high quality standard.

Skills and experience:

Applicants should have an interest in horticulture / turf management. Reliable with a good work ethic, have the ability to work in a team environment and having an understanding of golf is advantageous but not essential.

The successful applicant will be trained in all aspects of turf management, OHS, will work a 38 hour week and also may be required to work a rotating weekend roster.
