Student success stories 

By and in the water

It was very exciting to learn of the achievements of MGSC students, representing a number of local life saving clubs, at the Victorian Life Saving championshiops held at Warrnambool over the Labour day long weekend.  More satisfying was to see that our students joined with other clubs in some team competitions. The MGSC bonds go across the competition line. Thank you to parent Samantha Barrow for sharing the news and some photos. Congratulations Pippi, Trinity, Lily, Issy, Grace and Tara.  

MGSC students totalled 12 gold, 8 silver and 3 bronze medals. The results:

On the water 

Over the Labour Day long weekend, Jemmah Paton (year 11) and Chelsea Paton (year 9) waterskied at the Moomba festival in the city. 

They are part of the Southern Waters ski show team, and did a total of eight shows on the Yarra river in acts such as the ballet and swivel line, trios, doubles and the pyramid. 

In the double three tier pyramid Jemmah and Chelsea are on the top!  In the ballet line featured in the header they are far left and right. Many may have seen the Southern Water ski show team featured in the Herald Sun and in media across the weekend. Spectacular!
