Principal Report

Well done to everyone for such a great start for the 2022 school year and a fantastic Term 1. Around the school our students are engaged in their learning and consequently there is a real positive buzz in classrooms. 

A crucial part of Oatlands Primary School is our school culture and underpinning our school culture are our core values. 

Our values include respect, kindness, resilience, effort and creativity, along with patience and integrity, which form the foundation of the behaviours of our students, staff and school community. 

What we do and how we relate  and interact with each other matters and it creates a difference. Examples of behaviours associated with these values include saying ‘Good Morning’ or ‘Good Afternoon’ to others, opening a door for someone if they are about to come through, saying ‘Have a great day’ to other people and if a basketball comes your way, give it back to those who are playing with it. 

Behaviours like this make a difference to how we relate to each other and help everyone have a terrific day.
