Staffing News

It is with pleasure that I announce the appointment of Miss Jessica Harrison to the role of SPLASH Co-Director. Jess’ appointment is to work alongside Rebecca Heinjus in running SPLASH, both as Co-Directors. She joins us following a role as Director in another OSHC service in the Northern Suburbs. Jess will begin with the SPLASH team from Wednesday 12th April, and will get to know staff, children and families through our April Vacation Care program. Welcome Jess!!

I also must sadly announce the resignation of Miss Shenae Putz from the role of Administration Assistant. Shenae is taking an incredible adventure from late April, headed overseas for work. Initially planned as extended leave, Shenae has now decided that she may extend her trip. Shenae’s last day wil be April 14 – the last day of this term. Please join me in thanking Shenae for her kind and loving service to our community and in wishing her every blessing for Shenae in her adventure and whatever comes beyond.

Sports Day

With thunderstorms forecast for Thursday, we have decided to reschedule Sports Day to Term 4. Our back-up day was scheduled for Tuesday after Easter, however the wet weekend and forecast for Tuesday does not give us confidence in a safe and dry track next week. We look forward to hosting a fabulous Sports Day in Term 4 and will notify families of our new date as soon as possible. 

Thursday 6th April will be a normal school day. Please refer to the letter emailed to families for further information about this day, particularly if you made arrangements to collect your child early after sports day.
