On Thursday the 30th of March, Jacana School for Autism held it’s first House Colours Day for 2023. Students and staff were encouraged to dress up in their house colours for the event and there were prizes for the best dressed students from each house colour and sub-school. There were also prizes for the best dressed staff members too!
Students and staff participated in a range of games chosen by the Student Leadership team, including: limbo, bowling, beanbag toss and musical statues. Feedback from staff and students collected after the event was overwhelmingly positive and the Student Engagement Team look forward to making these events a termly tradition!
Thank you to all the staff and students for their participation and enthusiasm on the day!
Students followed our expected behaviours, showed their school house pride and connectedness.
Have a look at some photos from our exciting day.
