YEAR 12 EARLY OFFER INFORMATION

Yr 12 students will be talked through the process of applying for early offers during extended PCG time on Thursday 4th May. All Universities will be using TISC this year for applications, except for Notre Dame. Offers will be made from 17 July. 

 

CURTIN UNIVERSITY YEAR 12 EARLY OFFER INFORMATION

Applications open 1st May through TISC. Students must have a predicted ATAR (from final Yr 11 results) 5 points above the min. advertised ATAR to receive an early offer.  If your predicted ATAR is less than five points above the ATAR score required for your course, you’ll still receive a conditional early offer for a place at Curtin but you will need to achieve a final ATAR that meets course entry requirements, and meet English and subjects requirements for the course.

 

 

EDITH COWAN UNIVERSITY YEAR 12 EARLY OFFER INFORMATION RELEASED

If you're in Year 12 and have a predicted ATAR, or you're completing a Certificate IV or a recognised university enabling course that leads to undergraduate study, you can apply for an early offer for an ECU course.

 

We'll use your Year 11 results to calculate a predicted ATAR and if this meets the requirement for your nominated course, you'll receive an early offer securing your place. This will be subject to you achieving WACE and meeting the English requirements and any other prerequisites for your course (where relevant).

 

Applications made through TISC from 1 May and offers from 17 July.

 

UNIVERSITY OF NOTRE DAME EARLY OFFER INFORMATION

 

Yr 12 students can apply direct to Notre Dame for an early offer from 1 May, using final Yr 11 results. Applications will close 30 September 2023, with offers made shortly after that date. Notre Dame will be running information sessions on applying for an early offer on Wednesday 17 May and Tuesday 25 July 2023.

UWA YEAR 12 EARLY OFFER INFORMATION

Year 12 students can apply for an Early Offer to UWA from Monday 1 May. UWA will be accepting and processing all applications for Early Offers for 2024 entry through TISC Online. There will be no direct applications this year. Offers will be made based on final Year 11 results. TISC will automatically predict the students ATAR score based on results. Nothing additional needs to be submitted.

 

Students must have a minimum predicted ATAR of 80 and meet the entry requirements for their nominated course to receive an offer.

Students will be able to complete the application process through TISC Online from 1st May and first offers will be made Monday 17 July.

 

Students can apply for an Early Offer for all degrees with UWA excluding Assured Pathways to Medicine, Dental Medicine, Pharmacy and Podiatric Medicine or the Bachelor of Biomedicine (specialised).

ECU Holiday Workshops - Animation using Godot for beginners

ECU’s School of Science: Computing and Security invite high school students to join us for a day of coding. We will be using Godot to create 2D characters that can move around a space such as an endless dungeon.

ECU Holiday Workshops - 'Making Code, Making Things' for High School Girls

Thursday 13 April | 9:00am - 3:00pm | Joondalup Campus

ECU’s School of Science is proud to offer this workshop for female and gender-diverse high school-aged students interested in learning more about computing and security. Join us as we explore the capabilities of a micro:bit as we code in python. Create simple actions and games using buttons, LEDs, radios, and accelerometers. Let’s add some wires, and other sensors to ‘make things!’

ECU Holiday Workshops - Learn to Linux

Thursday 13 April | 9:00am - 3:00pm | Joondalup Campus

ECU’s School of Science is proud to offer this workshop for high school-aged students/teachers interested in learning more about computing and security. Suitable for students with some knowledge of coding. Linux is a popular alternative operating system often used in cybersecurity. Learn to Linux is a hands-on workshop where participants are introduced to different Linux operating systems including Ubuntu. The second half of the day will be focussing on the use of command lines. Feel free to bring your own laptops or use our desktops.

ECU Holiday Workshops - Cyper Challenges

Friday 14 April | 9:00am - 3:00pm | Joondalup Campus

ECU’s School of Science is proud to offer this workshop for high school-aged students/teachers interested in learning more about computing and security. Suitable for students with little to some knowledge of CTFs. Join us as we take you through the different fields of cyber security. Develop your ethical hacking and pen-testing (technical) skills using free open-source cyber tools to complete challenges. We will revise Linux before moving on to CTFLearn, PicoCTF22, Over The Wire.

Medicine and Dentistry Admissions Updates

ATAR requirements for Medicine and Dentistry undergraduate entry have now been revised to the following:

Pathway – Minimum ATAR required

Domestic – 98.00

Indigenous pathway – 90.00

Changes to the Medicine and Dentistry minimum ATAR apply to applicants completing secondary school in 2023 onwards. Applicants who have completed secondary school in 2022 are subject to the historical admission requirements, to ensure no applicants are unfairly disadvantaged or advantaged.
