Week 2 of the school term saw approximately 50 of our students represent the College at the Southern All Schools Touch Carnival at Jubilee Park. Four teams consisting of Year 7 and 8 girls and boys teams, as well as Year 9 and 10 girls and boys teams played against schools from across the Riverina. Some quality Touch Football skills were on display from our students who dominated the majority of their round games. All four teams made it through to the semi-finals in some close games where Kildare’s defense was tested. We continued our winning form making it through to the grand finals. The Year 7 and 8’s girls team narrowly lost their grand final, however, will still progress to the next stage of the competition. The Year 7 and 8’s boys team, Year 9 and 10’s girls team and the Year 9 and 10’s boys teams all won their grand finals and came out as Southern All Schools Touch Champions.

Congratulations to all four teams who represented the College superbly and will progress to the next stage in Sydney. The NSW All Schools State Final will be held early Term 3 in August. We wish these teams the best of luck in Sydney.

A huge thank you to Ryder Elsley, Cohen Benson and Diezel Watson who volunteered their time to referee over the two days, their time was greatly appreciated.

Our talented long distance runners traveled over to Narrandera on Monday 8th May to run in this year's BISSA Cross Country. In cold, windy conditions, students ran various distances through the pony and race course in Narrandera, pushing their endurance to the limits. Runners from schools across the Riverina competed on the day and all of our students put in a fantastic effort in each of their races.

Well done to Kobe Drummond and Jackson Connolly who placed first and second in the 18 Years boys event, respectively. Congratulations to the following students who placed in the top 6  in their age group and will progress to the next phase in Sydney later in the year: Joey Maloney, Harry Byrne, Ty Mooney, Elizabeth Dumpleton, Kobe Drummond, Jackson Connolly and Ashton Bourke. Wishing you all the best of luck in Sydney.
