Year 11 North West Tour 2023

The excitement is building! We are just awaiting final confirmation for accommodation around the Pardoo region. As you can understand, they are rebuilding following the cyclone that cut through there in April. Once we have confirmation, you will receive the Consent2Go email with all information regarding your consent and itinerary. In the meantime, please see attached the following documents in relation to the Tour to be held in the first two weeks of Term 3.

The Student Contract was distributed at Assembly today to all Year 11's for signing. Please take the time to discuss with your child the behaviour expectations we have for students to be invited to our off-site events. Similarly, to Country Week, we need to ensure our students can be responsible and trustworthy. We expect to be able to see this reflected in school and residential settings every day, prior to the events and the student contract outlines this very clearly.

The North West Tour 2023 Parent information Letter attached below provides an overview of all tour details, including payment details.

The Packing List (What to Take) outlines the suggested items for students to bring with them. Space is tight and we ask that packing be kept to a minimum, as we have limited storage spaces on the coaches and the truck that we take with us in convoy up to Broome.

National Boarding Week (14 - 20 May 2023)

As well as National Road Safety Week, it is also National Boarding Week. Today is especially important as it is Wellbeing Wednesday.

The wellbeing of boarders and boarding staff is of the utmost importance. Every day provides a new opportunity to look after your mental health and wellbeing. To celebrate Wellbeing Wednesday today, please take some time for yourself to check in and focus on what small changes you can make throughout your day to 'improve your wellbeing'.

As you are aware, we have our Wellbeing and Cultural Appreciation Day on Friday. All boarders start the day with a sleep in and late breakfast, before starting at 9am.  It is going to be fantastic way for students to focus on their wellbeing across home, school and in boarding.
