Our new Acting Assistant Principal

Introducing Ms Maree Magnabosco....

Firstly, I would like to thank the Montmorency South community for the warm welcome I have received; I am thrilled to be the newly appointed Acting Assistant Principal. There is such a strong sense of community here, and the positive culture is almost palpable.

I come to Monty South after being a member of the School Improvement Workforce at the regional office where I worked with a number of schools as part of the Differentiated Support for School Improvement (DSSI) initiative. Prior to this, I worked in numerous schools throughout my 18 years in education, most recently at Diamond Creek East Primary School. I have a passion for teaching and learning and my role this year will be facilitating improvement in Teaching and Learning with a particular focus on Numeracy.

As we all know, education is about partnerships. I invite you to learn alongside us by reading the monthly Teaching and Learning Update which will now be a regular feature within our school newsletter. If you would like to discuss anything with me, please do not hesitate to contact me via the school email address or phone the front office. For those who are at school drop-off and/or pick-up, please come and say hi, you can usually find me dodging footballs and soccer balls on the oval!

Thank you again, it’s a pleasure to work alongside the Monty South team.
