Respectful Relationships – Gender Equality and Diversity

As part of our commitment to the Respectful Relationships Initiative, we are keen on embedding a culture of respect and equality across our entire community. This approach leads to positive impacts on student’s academic outcomes, their mental health, classroom behaviour, and relationships between teachers and students.

You will find below a photo of some new posters displayed in the main entrance to our school. The Student Agency Team (SAT) delivered these posters to be displayed in our classrooms. We hope this gentle messaging will aim to challenge gender stereotypes and promote gender equality.

As staff, we are focusing this term on developing our understanding of gender diversity as part of our requirements in the new Child Safe Standards.

Kind regards,

The Respectful Relationships Team
