Message from our Campus Principal

Cleo Lazaris

End of term arrangements

The end of term is a great time for our students and staff to reflect on all the activities and achievements of the term. There has been a lot of activity this term; camps, work experience, Blue Edge, NAPLAN, Attitudes to School Surveys and all of this notwithstanding the impact and interruptions due to COVID.

At our end of term assembly, we hear from our Student Representative Council who report the highlights from each year level.

It can be a little nerve wracking to talk in front of the whole school, but our SRC representatives have been building their skills in public speaking, and each time the assemblies seem less daunting for them.

This term we will also recognise the students who participated in the first Blue Edge program.

As a campus we like to end the term with a whole school, fun activity; you will remember we held the Colour Run last term.  This term a rotation of activities has been organised where students will participate in their houses, earn points for their house, and hopefully win the first Campus House trophy!

Students are encouraged to dress in their house colours to earn extra points.

The last day of term, Friday June 24th will finish slightly earlier than a normal school day.

Classes will finish at 1.00 pm.

Buses will leave Churchill Campus at 1.15 pm.

Finally, I wish you all a safe and restful holiday.  Be sure to recharge and make sure you have all the materials you need for learning in each of your classes.
