Real Talk Visit

Last Thursday our school hosted a visit from the Real Talk Education Team from Brisbane. Kristen and JP visited the Year 5/6 classroom and taught our students about self worth, positive self image and how we are all made in the image of God.  Students also learned about how amazing we are and how we need to acknowledge and value ourselves in this world, to be the strong and resilient people we need to be for the future.  Kristen and JP also worked with the Year 3/4 students, sharing ways to stay safe when communicating online and on social media.

A big thank you to Real Talk for making this day such a great experience for our students.

It was a pleasure to have Kristen and JP back in the school, sharing such valuable lessons.

The Real Talk team will also be providing Parent Information Sessions via Zoom. The next session is on Thursday 23rd June at 7.30pm. Please see the information below.

Kindergarten's Unique Unicorns

As a part of their PDH Unit, Kindergarten have been learning about what it means to be unique. They read the brilliant story 'Thelma the Unicorn', which explores themes of being true to yourself and being proud of who you are. In response to this, Kindergarten created their very own 'Unique Unicorns'. Students wrote about their special talents and what makes them one of a kind.
