Life Skills Go

Students in Years 7-9 are participating in the Life Skills Go program. Students’ login to the platform each day during Homegroup and do an emotional check-in.

Once students complete the emotional check-in, they do a Mindfulness activity. This enables students to pause, focus on the moment, calm, and prepare for learning.

We are currently running a 5-week competition to see which homegroup can get the greatest number of check-ins.

Congratulations to 7H (216 check-ins), 9F (134 check-ins) and 8A (121 check-ins).

Please encourage your child to bring a charged laptop to school and a set of headphones.

Sleep is essential for young people to feel their best and do their best, but many young people get far less sleep than the need.

Headspace Greensborough, in partnership with Austin Health Youth Engagement and Treatment Team Initiative (YETTI), will be delivering an information webinar for parents/carers and members of the community.

This information session, run by experienced Youth Mental Health Clinicians, aims to explore why many young people don’t get enough good quality sleep and will explore practical sleep hygiene tailored for young people.
