Year 11/12 TCE Mid Year Examinations
Year 11/12 students are busy completing work on their courses to be prepared for the mid-year written examinations in Week 8, 20 - 24 June.
Students studying Level 3 or 4 (pre-tertiary) TCE courses will sit a 2 hour written mid-year examination in those courses. Language oral examinations follow a different process for the oral component.
Written examinations for external examinations in November will be 3 hour papers.

Year 10 / 11 Futures / Transition Interviews
As part of each student's transition planning, parents and students will be invited to attend an individual career and future planning meeting with Mrs Schuth (TASC Liaison Officer and Careers Advisor) and / or Mrs Vanderplus (Year 10 Careers teacher) during June, July and August.
Meeting interview times and details will be included in the newsletter in Week 9 and emailed to parents with login information.
Year 11/12 2023 TCE Enrolment
Year 11/12 students spoke to Year 10 Pastoral Care classes this week about their experience of TCE courses and their Southern experience. Thank you to those students and to Year 10 for their questions and comments.
Information in relation to enrolment for Year 11/12 2023 courses will be in the newsletter and emailed to parents. Please contact Mrs Schuth, Mr Witcomb or Mr Barker if you have any questions about courses and requirements for achieving the TCE (Tasmanian Certificate of Education), Apprenticeships (AbSa's), TAFE, VET (Vocational Education Training courses).
