EW Richards & Sons are offering a full time permanent farm hand role for the right applicant. We are a family owned, mixed cropping and sheep enterprise, located 15km south west of Quairading.
Main duties will include:
- Seeding
- Harvest
- Spraying
- Spreading
- Excavator work
- Sheep work
- General farm duties
Accommodation in town is available, modern machinery equipped with GPS, award wage and work ute provided. Start date and working hours are flexible. This position will be great for a keen and motivated person with a passion for agriculture. Quairading is a great community to be apart of and only 2 hours from Perth.

Alcoa Apprenticeships
Alcoa will be launching our 2023 Apprenticeship Program recruitment campaign on Friday 17 June 2022, aimed at providing secondary students, who have completed a minimum of year 10, an opportunity to develop a diverse range of skills through our four-year structured practical and theoretical program that will lead to a nationally recognised trade certificate.
There will be 36 positions available across our WA Bauxite Mining and Alumina Refining operations that will commence early January 2023 across the following trade categories:
- Mechanical Fitter
- Fabricator / Welder
- Heavy Duty Plant Mechanic
- Industrial Electrical Instrumentation Technician
- Light Vehicle Mechanic
The Apprenticeship program is aimed at delivering first-class training including hands on experience that take place in a dynamic, heavy duty environment, providing apprentices a competitive edge in the job market.
Alcoa will welcome applications for the 2023 Apprenticeship Program from Friday 17 June 2022 until Tuesday 19 July 2022.

Iluka Resources are looking to employ 2 x Heavy Duty Fabrication Apprentices (used to be called Boiler Maker). A Year 12 student would be their first choice, with a view to sign the student up this year to commence next year.
