Uniform
Term 3 full winter uniform is to be worn to school.
The current winter tunic, peter pan collared shirts and long blue socks (navy tights can be worn), school jumper with black school shoes. (refer to Skoolbag 4 May for further information)
Long blue trousers, Blue long-sleeved shirt (tucked in), school jumper and black shoes.
A reminder that all children are to wear the correct school uniform including black school shoes on all days except when they have PE or classroom sport. Classroom teachers will inform you of the days when sport and PE occur please refer to the website for the correct uniform. https://www.stcolumbasprimary.org/uniform.html
Baptism
Baptism preparation for older children will be held in the Parish in mid-July, and if there are any families who wish their children to be prepared for Baptism please contact Christine via email or telephone

Important dates and events
PFA Annual Bunnings Fundraiser: This Saturday 16 July – Port Melbourne.
Thank you to all those who have volunteered to assist with the BBQ. If you are in the area and can pop by to show your support that would be a lovely show of your appreciation for the efforts the PFA go to for raising money for the school.
Year 4 Eucharist
This term our year 4 children will make their First Eucharist. On Tuesday night we held a Eucharist Formation night. Fr Elio Capra unpacked the origins and significance of celebrating the Eucharist with parents and Fr John facilitated a session with the class teachers, Christine and the children.
Eucharist Preparation Masses will take place this weekend: 16 and 17 July at St Columba’s 6:00pm and 9:00am and Sacred Heart 11:00am
First Eucharist Masses will be held on 27, 28, August, 3, 4 September, Bookings for this will become live via our interview platform after Parent teacher interviews.
Parent Teacher/ Interviews
Parent / Teacher interviews will take place on Thursday 28 July, 1:30-7:00pm.
School will finish at 1:00pm on this day to facilitate this.
Information regarding the booking of interviews was sent home this Thursday Skoolbag and email.
School Musical
Friday 9 September
School Musical: Madagascar Junior
The Year 6 students have commenced rehearsals for Madagascar Junior which we will be staging at school on Friday 9 September. The whole school will be involved on the day. More information regarding the performances will follow in the upcoming weeks.

I just wanted to reiterate our thanks once again for the generous donation your school made to us. As you know this money went towards a disco for our students. It was a very fun night, and we were so grateful of your contribution which went towards our DJ.
