Hockey

Congratulations to Year 10 student Chelsea Thornton and Year 8 student Tyler McCann who both played in the Australian Under 15 hockey championships. Chelsea and the NSW girls came first by defeating Victoria in the gold medal final in a dramatic shootout 4-3. Whilst Tyler’s team didn’t make the finals, he received a "player of the match" award in the game against WA

Congratulations to Year 11 swimmer Mitch Hayden who won silver in both his 50m and 100m butterfly races at CCC on Friday where he was narrowly beaten by one , one hundredth of a second ! 

Also to the O'Connor senior boys freestyle relay team who won bronze...well done Mitch and Year 12 students Lachie Fittler, Jake Minehan and Hugh Sweeney!

Touch

Congratulations to Tori Brazier who represented Northern Eagles U16's at the NSW Touch Football Junior Regional Championships in Penrith during the holidays. Tori played 6 games to a very high standard and was selected in the NSW U16's Merit Team. Well done Tori!

Bill Turner Trophy Football

Our 15yrs and under girls are through to the 3rd round of the knockout competition.

Tori Brazier has anchored the team at centre midfield, with a strong defensive line including Lucy Barley, Lauren Fenton, Jorja Wilson, Caitlin Lord and Goal Keeper Chloe Lincoln.

Our attacking players Vanessa Simpson, Allie Carson, speedster Anastasia Martin, Abby Jackson, Erin Porter have played very well sharing the goal scoring.

Utility players Emma Gray, Emily Lockyer, Macey Clark, Tahlia White, Lily Moore and Olive Tutt make up the team.

A big thanks to Erin Porter who organises shirts and washes them after each game.
