ISA Athletics - SPX 2nd Overall and wins Senior Shield!
On Monday of this week the College recognised the Cocurricular contributions of our senior students at the Annual Sports Colour Awards Ceremony in The Concourse. Old Boy of the College, David Prentice, spoke to the boys and presented a number of Silver and Gold Awards to our worthy recipients. Our Winter Sport/Co-curricular photos have now been taken. Hard-copy order forms were given to students and should be returned to the Student Office by the end of this term. A PDF form can be found below should you require it.
Dear parents and students,
Trials have been completed and I will be publishing all teams this Thursday. I appreciate your patience with this process as I have been trying to ensure all students have had at least one chance to trial for a team. Training for all teams will start next term. Round 1 of the ISA season is on Saturday 27th October.
All A teams will have trial matches against St Aloysius teams on Saturday 22nd September at Aloysius (47 Upper Pitt St, Milsons Point). The 14As and 15As will train next Tuesday afternoon at school. The 17As and 1sts will train next Wednesday afternoon. The 13As will train during their sport afternoon next Tuesday. I will be providing singlets for teams to use for the trials.
Game times for Saturday 22nd September
This Friday afternoon our 1sts and 17As will start off their season with trial matches against Shore Teams. Both games are at The Shore School. The 17As will play at 4:15pm and the 1sts at 5:15pm.
Holiday training camps: We will be running holiday training sessions for Years 5-9 during the holidays. Information about these sessions will be sent out in the next couple of weeks. All sessions will be run at Chatswood.

MWJCA Season Start: District Cricket (all sides except 1st and 2nd XI) has started with wins to the U14/1 Green (A. McConnell 2/21, M. Bansal 52*) and U16/2 Purple (J. Overton 45* and 2/13).
Playing Uniforms: Players are reminded that they are to be dressed in correct College Cricket uniform. That being: College Cricket shirt (available from Uniform Shop), white trousers and College headwear.
Training: Team training has commenced. All training is at Oxford Falls and conducted by Cricket Appeal coaches. Bus transport to Oxford Falls leaves from outside OLD Church at 3:20 and returns to Anderson Street at 5:30pm. Players are expected to be dressed for training in College PE uniform. The training schedule for the remainder of Term 3 is:

Under 15s New Zealand Tour 2019: Players interested in attending the Under 15s New Zealand Rugby Tour in 2019 are asked to secure their place through the following trybooking link:

The to The tour will occur during the first week of the April school holidays, departing Sydney on Friday 12th April and returning on Friday 19th April in time for Easter Weekend. The tour is open to any boys who currently plays rugby or is interested in playing rugby in the future. It is not graded and there is no selection process, just a minimum number of 20 boys for the tour to go ahead. Students must be eligible for the Under 15s in 2019, that is they turn 15 next year.
