Athletics
Emerson Fittler (Year 10) and his brother Lawson Fittler (Year 12, 2019) competed on the weekend at NSW Junior Championships. This is quite a high level meet and Emerson came 4th overall in the U17 400m and 9th in the U17 200m.

Lawson has continued his training since graduating from O'Connor, and came 4th in the U20 800m and 400m. Lawson recently ran in the B race at the Victorian Milers Club Meet in Melbourne. From being 7th with 300m to go, Lawson ran past a number of athletes including Alexander Rowe a former Australia 800m record holder, to place 2nd with a personal best time of 1:52.80 for the two lap race.
