It is not even the beginning of the end

As we enter life beyond the school gates

Looking back on our time at Cecil Hills High School, it is hard to believe that six years have passed and our journey as high school students has come to a close.

From toasting marshmallows at year 7 camp, exploring the city in year 9, getting covered in mud at the RAW challenge and learning how to surf in year 10, it’s safe to say that we’ve made some great memories that will last us a life time. All this, however, would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication from our amazing year advisers, Mr Hickey and Mrs Farah.

For six years, they helped, guided and supported us as we transitioned into young adults and prepared us for life beyond high school. Our grade will never be able to thank them enough and will always appreciate what they have done for our year group.

There are many things that we will miss about Cecil Hills High School, particularly the amazing opportunities, excursions and camps that we were lucky enough to attend, not to mention the wonderful staff members who we have formed special relationships with. The fun times, laughs and memories shared with our friends will also be missed dearly.

As we enter life beyond the gates of Cecil Hills High School, we are excited about the future endeavours we are about to embark on. There are a range of opportunities, paths and experiences that lie before us and we are all keen to explore them.

For fellow students yet to graduate, we would like to wish you the best of luck for the future and we sincerely hope that you have a journey that was as amazing as ours. Be sure to work with your teachers, cherish every moment and take every opportunity to make lifelong memories with your peers.

Although year 12 was an extremely busy and challenging year filled with an abundance of assessment tasks, it was an experience that none of us will forget. We would personally like to thank each and every staff member for making our time here at Cecil Hills High School so enjoyable, rewarding and memorable.
