Candid Connections: Youth Photography Competition

Ready your cameras, we are looking for your candid snaps of connection based on our six themes.

What do we mean by 'candid'?

Honest, sincere or whatever you feel truly expresses your reality.

What are the themes?

• Colour - use the breadth of the rainbow to express yourself
• Black and white - keep it dark as night or bright and white to portray meaning
• Movement - capture a moment of gripping action
• Pet portrait - make your much loved pet a starring subject
• Editorial - your snaps using digital edits destined for the front pages
• Landscape - show us your favourite skyline or natural vista

The Boombox Events FReeZA committee will be the judges for this exhibition with winners for each category.

We welcome young photographers, new or experienced, to submit one photograph per category, but you should know you can only win once. This is a free competition open to young people aged 10-25 with a connection to Bayside. This FReeZA event will be hosted in 2021 in accordance with the COVID-19 restrictions at the time.
