ROCK UP BASKETBALL

For the last three weeks Year 7 students have been enjoying the Multicourts all to themselves on Monday and Thursday Lunchtimes to play some Basketball.

The Rock Up Basketball Club is exclusive to Year 7s and gives them the opportunity to come along and ‘shoot some hoops’, play some social or competitive games and have fun at lunchtimes.

This has been a huge success for the Year 7s with around 100 students turning up to get involved. Rock Up Basketball will feature a small tournament in its final week so we can crown the kings of the court.

I would like to thank the PE staff who have given up their lunchtimes to supervise and organise this activity for our students, seeing students enjoying playing sport recreationally and competitively makes it all worth it!
