State Budget Funding

Fairhills has been allocated $8.071 Million in the state budget to complete stage 1 of our Regeneration masterplan.

Plans include the conversion of our old school hall into a state of the art Performing Arts Centre comprising a 300 seat theatre, a new extended foyer area, a music classroom and instrumental practice rooms, a dance studio and an extended floor level stage with a fly tower. Great for our students and great for our Knox community.

At this stage we are hopeful that we will receive another funding grant for the master-planned stage 2 with other exciting changes to our other buildings so that all of the facilities become fully fit for purpose for the 21st century and our next 50 years.

Currently, a working party are preparing Stage 1 documentation on the 'vision' for our school (there will be consultation with the community) , progressing on to designing and planning of the building works.

Thank you to all who have laboured over the last decade to initiate, design and now achieve funding for Fairhills to continue to move forward with our goal of providing excellent and diverse learning opportunities for our students and further contribute to our Knox community.
