CELEBRATING OUR FAITH

Year 10 Graduation Mass
Thank you to the many parents who came to help celebrate the graduating class of 2017. Fr Thaddeus conducted a lovely mass, and reinforced two messages to the students: firstly, that each one of them is special, with unique gifts to offer the world; secondly, that they are now ambassadors for Holy Trinity School in the wider community. This positive message was a fitting way for our Year 10 students to finish their liturgical experience at our school.
Thanksgiving Mass
Our final school mass will be held in our school hall on Thursday 14 December at 9.15am. Parents and grandparents are most welcome to join us for this mass, which is attended by the whole school. At the start of the liturgy each class brings forward a hamper of food items they have donated to the St Vincent de Paul Society, for distribution to local families at Christmas. At the conclusion of the mass our Junior St Vincent de Paul executive will present a cheque to a representative of our local Vinnies, the proceeds of our fundraising efforts this term.
Coin Drop and Food Donation
All students are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to their class hampers. Christmas-themed goods will be collected in each class, and given to St Vincent de Paul at the Thanksgiving mass next week. Our coin-drop will be held next Wednesday - again, students are encouraged to donate some coins to our Vinnies Christmas Appeal. Any money or goods donated will be used in our local community. Supporting these causes is a great way of encouraging a more generous attitude towards Christmas - a time of giving to others, and a time to be grateful for the many gifts we have been given.
