College Principal Message

Dear Parents & Carers,

I have a few more staff changes to announce. Firstly, I would like to start by congratulating Amanda Mullins, Campus Principal at our Delahey Campus. Amanda has been appointed as Acting Principal at Werribee Secondary College for the remainder of 2019. Congratulations and welcome to Snezana Veljanovski who has been appointed to replace Amanda as Acting Campus Principal at Delahey. Snezana comes to us from Wallan Secondary College.

Congratulations also to our performing arts team led by Sarah Gunn for putting on Grease. The event was held at the Bowery Theatre in St Albans and was a great success. Students from all 3 campuses participated. Organising students and staff for such a big event is a major task.

And further cause to celebrate goes to Campus Principal Mary Chiodo who has been nominated as a candidate in the Westfield Local Heroes Program.  This is a result of her work with Copperfield College (particularly our fantastic VCAL program).  The three top finalists are awarded a $10,000 grant for their affiliated organisation.  If Mary is successful, Copperfield College will commission an independent evaluation of its VCAL program and develop ways to replicate it in other schools.  It will also fund new development opportunities for students. Well done Mary.
