District Swimming Carnival (Y4 - 6)
A HUGE congratulations to all of the students who competed at the District Swim Carnival at MSAC on Thursday 7 March. We finished 3rd overall behind Brighton Beach and the winners, Brighton. The following students all placed 1st and progressed to the Divisional level of the competition:
- Sam W (6D): Butterfly
- Kiara M (6B): Freestyle
- Alicia O (6B): Backstroke and Freestyle
- U12/13 Girls Freestyle Relay: Sophie N (6A), Arri T (6B), Maggie S (6D) and Kiara M (6B)
Division Swimming Carnival
The Division Swim Carnival was held yesterday (Wednesday 13 March) at the Carnegie Swim Centre. Congratulations to the following students who went up against the best swimmers from other districts with the following results:
- Sophie N (6A), Arri T (6B), Maggie S (6D) and Kiara M (6B) finished 2nd in the U12/13 Girls Freestyle Relay
- Kiara M (6B) finished 3rd in individual 50 m Freestyle
- Alicia O (6B) finished 2nd in 50m Backstroke and 3rd in 50m Freestyle
- Sam W (6D) finished 3rd in 50m Butterfly

Year 5/6 Inter-school Sport
This term students in Year 5 & 6 are participating in Summer Inter-School Sport (Friday mornings) where they compete against local schools in the following sports:
- Volleyball
- Kanga Cricket
- Oz TAG
- Lacrosse
- Softball
- Basketball
- Lawn Bowls
Students who are not participating in the above sports are allocated to 'Recreation' groups which includes the following sports/activities:
- Triathlon
- Rugby & Blind Soccer
- Stand Up Paddle Boarding
- Yoga
- Coach Approach
