Prep Wellbeing

Over the past two weeks, the Prep children have been exploring the concept of self-empowerment. Through the use of dramatic play and visualisation, they have created their own unique imaginary 'Cloak of Courage' that they can ‘put on’ at the beginning of each day, propelling them forward with the confidence and loving support from all those they treasure in their lives. It’s a powerful tool to use when feeling nervous or shy about stepping into a new day without being physically beside their parents and families. They loved designing and creating their colourful cloaks onto paper as a constant reminder that they have their loved ones’ support wrapped around them each and every day!

GRIP Leadership Conference

Yesterday (Wednesday 13 March), our School Captains, Vice Captains and Year 6 Junior Council representatives attended the GRIP Leadership Conference at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The main aim of the Conference was to train students for their role as school leaders. The day consisted of a variety of presentations, interactive activities, discussions and leadership games that our leaders found extremely useful and inspiring.
