BNPS Community Welcome & School Disco - 22 March

Friendly reminder that our Community Welcome (postponed due to heat) is now being held on the same night as the School Disco (Friday 22 March)! Both events will go ahead as originally planned, just on the same night - details below!

COMMUNITY WELCOME

Come along for a relaxed evening to welcome our new families and kick off another great year at BNPS! BYO picnic or purchase a sausage from the FAC BBQ and we’ll provide the entertainment…Mad about Dancing!

Mad about Dancing is made up of musicians who have years of experience playing for Bush dances, Irish and Scottish Ceilidhs and Contra dancing. Our Music Teacher, Mrs Audrey Fine, will walk you through any steps so that you can all enjoy dancing with your children and friends.

Time: 5.30 – 8.00pm (live entertainment from 6.30pm)

Where: BNPS oval

What to bring: Chairs, rugs, picnic and great community spirit!

Soft drinks and fruit tubes will also be available for purchase on the night.

Make sure you jump on Compass by Sunday (17 March) to make payment ($9) and provide consent for your child to attend the Disco!

FAC Bowls Night - 29 March)

It’s that time of year again, the annual Fathers’ Activity Club (FAC) bowls night! This is a great night of fun, snags and maybe a few beverages along the way. It’s a great way to meet other dads from the school and get involved. If you have never come along to one of our events, please email bnpsfac@gmail.com or call me on 0427 221 765 and I will add you to the distribution list. We always get a good turnout for this event and this year should be even bigger than last year!

Place: Sandringham Bowls Club (25 Tulip Street)

Date: 29 March, 6:30pm

Cost: $15.00 per person

Drinks will be available at bar prices and we will provide our fancy snags and snacks during the night.

We are looking at inviting Beaumaris Primary School FAC dads so it might be a competition between the two schools (The Beau Cup) - watch this space!

Please RSVP so we can cater for snags and let the venue know how many are coming.

Woolworths Scrabble Tile Promotion

If you shop at Woolworths but are not collecting the scrabble tiles, we would be most grateful if you could please donate them to the Prep classrooms as a learning resource.
