Primary School News

Congratulations to the 2018 Primary Monitors: Rohan Ellis and Joshua Brown (Year 5/6V) and Daniel Mazzarolo and Max Sullivan (Year 6N).

From the Primary School

In the last Newsletter we acknowledged our House Captains in their important role in the Primary School. We have also selected, via an application process, our Primary Monitors for 2018. Their role is to present as great role models for their fellow students as well to serve the Primary School more broadly.

The Primary Monitors are:  Year 6N Daniel Mazzarolo and Max Sullivan

and Year  5/6V Joshua Brown and Rohan Ellis.

I am sure I will get to know them over the year but I am reliably told they are excellent choices. Congratulations boys!

There have been elections for the Student Action Council (SAC) as well, and they were presented with their badges at the last assembly along with the other Primary leaders’ positions.

The 2018 SAC are:

  • Rec K - Sebastian Taddeo
  • Rec/Year 1S  - Jude Weidenbach
  • Year 1R - Athan Stavliotis
  • Year 2SH  - Billy Konstantinou
  • Year 3P  - Jack Brown
  • Year 4H  - Minh-Chuong Tran
  • Year 5LW  - Nicky Anemouri
  • Year 5/6V  - Hugh Caton
  • Year 6N  - Cory Ly

Again the Primary Staff look forward to working with them this year.

There was a huge crowd of parents, grandparents, families and friends to witness the badge presentation, as well as the hiphop Dance Concert. The dance instructors do an amazing job and the fact that the items were so well presented, in such a short period of time, only highlights their expertise. I know the boys really enjoyed their Dance block and the older boys eagerly await their turn also.

There are many events still to come for the Primary School as evidenced in the Dates to Remember below.

Enjoy the beautiful autumn weather.
