Skate Park Competition
The City of Prospect will host the final round of the SA Skate Park League series on Saturday 17 March from 11:00am to 4:00pm at George Whittle Reserve on Churchill Road for the first time!
Local young people aged from 12 – 25 years are encouraged to get involved and showcase their skills in a friendly and supportive environment which will feature scooter, BMX and skateboarding competitions.
The league is organised and facilitated by YMCA’s national pathway program that visits skate parks in every mainland state in the country! With the addition of skateboarding to 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, the series presents a great opportunity for young skateboard enthusiasts to demonstrate their skills and progress through a national structured pathway.
There will be cool prizes on offer and a DJ will be onsite to pump the tunes during the competition. This event will be popular and interested contestants are encouraged to get online and register quickly to avoid disappointment. It’s free to participate!
