Kildare Archibald Prize

Earlier this year, Year 9 Visual Arts students completed an Archibald Prize entry for their unit of work. They were to choose someone from the Kildare community, which could have been a fellow student, a teacher, a support staff member, a parent or an ex-student. Once they had selected their subject, it was important that they knew as much as they could about them so they could decide on a medium which best represented the individual.

These portraits are currently displayed in the Resource Centre and include an artist statement as well as a QR code. Staff and students are encouraged to scan the QR code under the artwork of their choice to submit their vote for the People's Choice Award.

Well done to Year 9 on presenting such a diverse collection of portraits!
