Foundation - Mainstream

Foundation have had an excellent start to the year.

We have established classroom expectations and routines; examined the deadly values; remembered to “stop, walk, talk” and “find one of my five” when we encounter difficulties and expanded our feelings vocabulary with the zones of regulation. 

We have also read and responded to books, counted using materials and practised our pencil grip and letter sounds.

Foundation - Steiner

We have settled into school wonderfully! The children have been getting use to the rhythms and routines of the day. We have been learning about being Deadly, treating each other and the classroom with respect and being kind friends. We have started our number story with Crystal the Curious Counting Cracken and are enjoying exploring sounds with our sound of the day rhymes. It has been a great start to the year. Keep it up.
