Leadership Prayer

Powerful Spirit of God, you guide us and light our way.

Bless our students as they take on the role as leaders of our school in 2022.

Bless our community as we encourage and support them in their leadership role.

We make this prayer through Christ Our Lord. Amen.

End of Year Celebrations

As we enter Week 9 it is an extremely busy time when many aspects of 2021 come to a conclusion as teachers conduct their final assessment of students, complete student reports and ensure that all of our students finish this disrupted year off on a high.

Our Year 6 children have received information regarding their end of year celebrations and specific events. After all that they have had to endure over the last two years, we aim to make this a fun and memorable time for these students as they come to the end of their primary school days.

Semester Two Reports

On Friday of Week 10 you will receive your child’s Semester Two report. This report will look a little different from your child’s Semester One report, as schools across Australia, have adjusted existing assessment and reporting processes in compliance with NSW State and Federal government requirements, this is to accommodate the changes that were made to teaching and learning as a result of the COVID-19 lockdowns.

Your child/ren’s Semester Two report will only contain an effort scale and a general comment. No A-E marking scale will be provided for each of the subject areas. However the general comment will communicate to you information about your child/ren’s learning progress in the areas of Religious Education, English, Mathematics and general behaviours or work habits. This reduced report does not mean that teaching and learning has not continued in all of the other key learning areas, just that our primary focus during remote learning has been in the areas of English, Mathematics and RE.

Wearing our school uniform with pride

As we head into the final few weeks of school we ask that children continue to wear their full school uniform and sports uniform with pride at all times. We understand that some children will have outgrown their school shoes, if this is the case and they are unable to obtain a new pair just yet, please ensure students wear shoes that closely match their school shoes and provide a note stating the reason for the change in shoes.
