Transition and Pathways

Charles Sturt’s Doctor of Medicine, a Joint Program in Medicine delivered in partnership with Western Sydney University, will prepare students for a rewarding medicine career.

While there are no pre-requisites, students are strongly encouraged to complete some chemistry study before starting medicine. And the good news is that we offer free Study Link subjects in anatomy, bioscience, chemistry, and physics.

Students can also check out some tips from the Dean of Rural Medicine, Prof. Lesley Forster, about subject selection, rural entry options and the steps they can take to get there.
