MIDDLE SCHOOL REPORT

Term 2.

It was been a very busy last few weeks of Term 2 in the Middle School. Students have been involved in numerous activities across the college. The stand out event for us was the Chisholm Discovery Day. Ms. Farrington – Williams and Mr. Knox took 40 of our Year 9 students to Frankston Chisholm TAFE for a tour and a taste of some of the courses that are on offer for our students. As we move into course selection, it was a great opportunity for students to see what is possible beyond the classroom. If your child was not able to attend there is another ‘TAFE Taster Day’ coming up in August. Information has been sent out via Compass.

A large number of students were involved in sporting teams who competed against our local schools. This is a great opportunity for students to work in a team and represent our school. We are always encouraging our students to take up opportunities that will enrich their secondary school.

Well done to all students who have given their best effort during the exam and assessment period. We understand that this can be a stressful time and all students made it through!
