Transitions

Transitions at school are very important. At Staughton, we take particular care to work with students as they transition into the school, and then through the various pathways within the school.

In the not too distant future 2017, Year 7 students will be attending Orientation Day. This is a special day where we work hard to make students feel welcome, understand our expectations of them, and begin the support they will experience during their time at Staughton.

Our students have also been transitioning into the senior end of the school. Students in Year 11 & 12 for 2017 have been participating in VCAL or VCE Step Up programs. These programs are a vital part of the preparation for students as they begin to refine their pathways towards what they will do after leaving school. I would like to celebrate and commend our students for their diligent approach to the Step Up sessions

Student Enrolments for 2017

With the plethora of new homes being built in the local area, we are keen to have as much information as possible regarding student numbers going into 2017. If anyone knows of a recently arrived family intending to enrol, please have them contact the College as soon as possible.
