MONA Excursion
Expression of Interest
Letters have been sent to all Senior Arts students inviting them to attend the annual art excursion to the Museum of New and Old Art (MONA) in Tasmania in June 2019. The purpose of this excursion is to expose students to the largest privately-owned collection of contemporary art in Australia. Last year, students found this excursion to be one of the best experiences of their education, inspiring them in their further arts studies.
Below is the basic run down of the day:
The approximate cost of they day is $250 per person which includes flights, transport around Hobart, travel to and from airports, entry into the museum, and dinner. To secure your child’s place on this trip a $100 deposit is to be paid at the front office by Friday, the 22nd of February (Term 1 Week 4). The remaining amount is to be paid by the last day of Term 1 – Friday 29th March (Week 9).
The day will begin at approximately 5:30 am and finish at approximately midnight. Dinner will be provided, which is included within the price, however, they will need to bring additional money for lunch or snacks throughout the day.
