Go Grey in May!

On Friday the 6th of May MGC had our term two casual clothes day "Go Grey In May Day". This entailed everyone dressing up in grey clothes and donating a gold coin towards the RCD foundation. We decided to raise money for the RCD foundation to help battle brain tumours and support brain matters in the areas of research, care and development. Myself and my fellow college co-captains felt that this was a worthy cause to support as brain cancer is the most fatal of all childhood and adolescent cancers and current clinical treatments only help 50% of children, leaving 90% with lifelong physical and mental impairments. It was great to see the whole school getting involved, including office staff and teachers as well as students by wearing grey to support brain matters.
