Pizzas and more!

Last week during Period 6 the first session of the HT Pizza Club was held.

It's not only delicious food that's involved - during the Period 6 sessions students have the opportunity to gain a deeper appreciation and cultural understanding of the country whose food is being explored. At the same time, everyone gets to cook an international dish.

During the food prep and cooking time, discussions cover some language and cultural similarities and famous people and icons. We try to steer clear of cultural stereotypes.

Last Monday we discussed whether Italians talked with their hands, loved their families, obsessed over fashion and football and couldn’t live without pasta!

While we first visited Italy, on each following session we will discover a different nationality and dish. It's foodie globe trotting at its very best!
